Holiday Gift Guide: Give the Gift of Mindfulness

With the holidays around the corner, it’s easy to focus on the sales, the deals, the material things. This year we’re going a different direction. Over the past two years, we’ve been going working on incorporating mindfulness and meditation into our routine. We know meditation is good for us but that doesn’t mean we know where to start. So this holiday season, we’re making the first step easy with this Mindful Gift Guide. Taking care of ourselves is one of those things that often gets pushed to the bottom of our to-do list, when really it might make our to-do list more do-able. Here are some of our favorites:

  1. MNDFL – Meditation made for New Yorkers. Escape the hustle of the city to get grounded in one of their studios around NYC. They offer a range of classes, events and instructors so there’s bound to be a fit for everyone! 1st month unlimited – $75

  2. Inscape – Guided meditation in-person or on their app! Their Flatiron location classes take place in an indoor dome that will make you forget you’re in manhattan in the dead of winter. 1 year subscription on app – $89.99, First 3 sessions – $50

  3. Headspace – For unlimited meditation on-demand and on-the-go, we love headspace. It’s perfect for people with busy schedules, long commutes or who might not be able to/want to attend meditation classes. You can customize the length and theme of the meditation (anxiety, sleep, productivity) and they even have a few meditations under 3 minutes to fit in no matter what your schedule looks like. 1 year subscription – $96

  4. Float Therapy – If you’re feeling fancy or are thinking of someone (or yourself!) who already has a meditation practice, float therapy was truly one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had. You lie in a jacuzzi-sized bath of epsom salt and literally feel like you are weightless. We went to Chill Space NYC where your first float is $99
