You’re Going to Want to Book These Warm Weather Wellness Retreats ASAP

Not that anyone’s counting, but there are just over 100 days left until summer (okay, maybe we are counting). But what better way to beat cabin fever than to think warm, happy thoughts and book a retreat to thaw you out. With so many wellness retreats to choose from, it’s hard to know which are worth your time and money. If you’re ready to set your email to OOO, here are a some favorites to check out.

Surf Yoga Beer

It’s exactly what it sounds like. You surf, do yoga and drink beer. Surf, Yoga, Beer offers retreats across the US and the World so you can pick what makes most sense for your schedule, travel bucket list and budget. The 5 day retreats include surf and meditation lessons, beach boot camps classes with top NYC instructors and dinners catered from acclaimed restaurants. YOGASCAPES Retreat

Whether you need to get out of cold ASAP, or want to plan ahead for your summer getaway, YOGASCAPES has year-round retreats in locations from California to Bali. Retreat activities range from farm-to-table meals, group hikes, morning meditations, and daily yoga to Red Rock glamping, stand up paddle boarding and seeing the Northern Lights. After a week of this yoga-escape, they say this combo of yoga, nature, nourishing food and company is bound to leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Yoga For Bad People

If you’re looking for a retreat where you can relax, do some yoga, but also want to have time for other activities, and meet self-proclaimed ‘cool’ people, Yoga For Bad People might be for you. Well + Good Retreat

If you’re feeling like you need to to escape the cold, like….now, Well + Good is hosting their first retreat to Palm Springs in March! Sign up on their site for a 3 day winter escape with celebrity leaders in wellness. Enjoy daily prepared meals from Avalon, learn health tips from Candice Kumai and stretch it out with Charlee Atkins. A bit of a tough sell since this retreat runs Sunday-Wednesday but if you can swing it, it sounds like our kind of long weekend.

Kara Goucher Podium Retreat

The date isn’t set yet for 2018 but the Kara Goucher Podium Retreat sells out so you might want to mark your calendar now. Normally, taking place in October, two time Olympian, Kara Goucher hosts a female-only, strength and empowerment retreat in Colorado.  The retreat hosts multi-disciplinary guest speakers and features daily runs, healthy, delicious food from Lottie by Running on Veggies and lots of time to unwind and connect. The retreat is open to runners, joggers and walkers, women of all ages and fitness levels are invited to attend.

WELL Summit

Not quite a week-long retreat in the sun, but this 2-day summit has been traveling across the US since last year and is making its’ way to Boston this spring and back to NYC this fall. Offering a 360 degree view of wellness, you’ll hear from and connect with some of your favorite influencers, brands and products.
