Not that anyone’s counting, but there are just over 100 days left until summer (okay, maybe we are counting). But what better way to beat cabin fever than to think warm, happy thoughts and book a retreat to thaw you out. With so many wellness retreats to choose from, it’s hard to know which are worth your time and money. YOGASCAPES Retreat

Whether you need to get out of cold ASAP, or want to plan ahead for your summer getaway, YOGASCAPES has year-round retreats in locations from California to Bali. Retreat activities range from farm-to-table meals, group hikes, morning meditations, and daily yoga to Red Rock glamping, stand up paddle boarding and seeing the Northern Lights. If you’re feeling like you need to to escape the cold, like….now, Well + Good is hosting their first retreat to Palm Springs in March! Sign up on their site for a 3 day winter escape with celebrity leaders in wellness. Enjoy daily prepared meals from Avalon, learn health tips from Candice Kumai and stretch it out with Charlee Atkins. A bit of a tough sell since these wellness retreats run Sunday-Wednesday but if you can swing it, it sounds like our kind of long weekend.

Kara Goucher Podium Retreat

The date isn’t set yet for 2018 but the Kara Goucher Podium Retreat sells out so you might want to mark your calendar now. Normally, taking place in October, two time Olympian, Kara Goucher hosts a female-only, strength and empowerment retreat in Colorado.  The retreat hosts multi-disciplinary guest speakers and features daily runs, healthy, delicious food from Lottie by Running on Veggies and lots of time to unwind and connect. The retreat is open to runners, joggers and walkers, women of all ages and fitness levels are invited to attend.

WELL Summit

Looking for short wellness retreats? This 2-day summit has been traveling across the US since last year and is making its’ way to Boston this spring and back to NYC this fall. Offering a 360 degree view of wellness, you’ll hear from and connect with some of your favorite influencers, brands and products.
